Here’s my portion of the new Forever Friday’s CD for Beta Nightclub.  The first half of the CD is done by residents Dj Frank E and Dj Petey, the second half by me.  The CD release will be on August 13th at Beta and August 15th during my set (6:30-7:30pm) on stage during the Mile High Music Fest…  If you can’t make it to either one of those events, I’ll update this post with the full cd download link.  As always, thanks for the support.

Here’s a video of our Ski/DJ trip to Whistler BC. Blake Kimmel was there capturing media tasties non-stop (sometimes three different media capturing devices at the same time!) and whipped this edit out with his fantastic editing skills.

What’s up HATHBANGER readers out there. As the summer rolls in and the nights get longer I wanted to hook you up with some new party music to blast in your stereos. I included two mash-ups made by Rex Buchanan on his plane ride out to Coachella this year.

Next weekend I will be working on an original dubstep track with Rex in preparation for our show at Beta Nightclub on Saturday June 12th.

I will be opening the night from 9 – 10. Rex will be mixing abstract visuals all night and playing two sets – one with a focus on dubstep / glitchop from 10 – 11 and one with a focus on big room electro from 12 – close. He even invited vocalist Sammy T to come perform with him so you know it will be live! But enough plugging, lets get back to the music….

Berryhill and I are in Whistler, Canada at the Orage Masters. Orage has asked us to pump the tunes for each battle between during the elimination rounds. It’s gonna be a party!

Hey All,

As you can see, Hathbanger.com has been given an entirely new look. ANY visitor to the site can now set up a profile and upload content. Here’s a quick rundown on all the new features of the site:

Every member of the Hathbanger.com community is now given a profile. If you’re new to Hathbanger.com, you may register to the site by heading here, or by pressing on the Register link in the Login sidebar menu.

User profiles can be edited in the Profile Editor. Head there to set up your name, bio, website, location, and other preferences. You may also upload a profile image that will be used as your gravatar throughout the site.

Each member’s profile has a message board, where users can easily post quick comments, thoughts, and news. In addition to being viewed within your profile, this post will also be shared on the Community News Feed.

Members can also friend other members on the site. To view all Community Members, head to the Members page. By pressing the Add as a Friend link under a user’s name, you will send a friend request to that particular member. All friend requests can be seen under your Friend Requests page.

As said above, any visitor to the site can set up a profile and post content. However, if you sign up to the site on your own, you may only submit content to be reviewed. If the Hathbanger staff and Contributors find your content to be worthy of the site, it will be published and placed into the Community section, where it will be viewable to all visitors of Hathbanger.com.

To post content to the site, you can either press the Post Something link in the Login sidebar menu, or you can simply head here.

WHILE POSTING CONTENT TO THE SITE, there are a few things that we ask you do to speed up the posting process for both us and you. Please read the list below as they ARE important and will make the entire site function much better.

1. Please create an Excerpt for your post. Under the main body of your post, you will see an Excerpt section. Please make sure to write a quick one to two sentence summary of your post in this section.

2. Make sure to appropriately tag and categorize your post. Much of Hathbanger.com is run off of the use of Categories. Contributors please file your posts under the appropriate Contributors section, Community members under Community, etc.

3. Set up a thumbnail for your post. In the Post Something screen, scroll down to the WP Post Thumbnail section. Under Section 1 – Select Thumbnail, make sure you’re set to preset 1 (200px, 200px).

Under Section 2, there should be a list of the images you uploaded while creating your post. If they’re not there, press the reload button and they should appear. Select the desired image that you want to use as your post thumbnail.

The image you just selected should now appear below. Drag the box on the image to crop the thumbnail as you see fit and press the Save Thumbnail button under Section 3. Go back to the top of the window and Update your post to save your thumbnail.
